Options Trading Weekly Recap – April 28 to May 2, 2025 100% Win Rate Week | 5 for 5 on Closed Trades

This week was a textbook example of disciplined trading, smart exits, and trusting the process. We closed out every trade green 5 wins, 0 losses β€” and managed risk like pros along the way.

πŸ”₯ Monday Momentum: PLTR & TSLA Take Off We kicked off the week with PLTR and TSLA calls β€” and both delivered big.

  • PLTR May 3 $120 Calls β†’ Locked in +40% early, and runners exploded to +300% πŸš€
  • TSLA May 3 $300 Calls β†’ Bagged +40%, with runners doubling to +100%

TSLA was a dip buy and PLTR a breakout - strong technical setups, and our early entries paid off fast.

πŸ“‰ AMZN: A Lesson in Risk Management We were already holding AMZN calls from the previous Friday and chose to exit for a modest +10% gain before earnings hit - we closed at 3PM on earnings day. That decision ended up saving us β€” after earnings, the stock tanked and premiums got destroyed.

  • Had we held? That +10% would’ve turned into a -99% loss.
  • Lesson: Profit is profit β€” and sometimes taking the β€œsnack” is the smart play. Profit is profit!

πŸ’Š HIMS: My Favorite Trade of the Week HIMS surged after announcing a partnership with Novo Nordisk. The next day? It pulled back -10%, giving us the perfect technical dip-buy. We went in with both calls and stock β€” and the results were beautiful:

  • HIMS May 3 $38 Calls β†’ +40% initial, runners hit +200%
  • Stock position (sent to our Investment Club) +18% in one day hims signal.png

That’s a BANGER of a trade. (and still has more room to go)

🎯 Friday Clutch: IWM Finishes the Sweep On Friday’s expiration day, IWM came through in the clutch after a favorable NFP report and a relentless bullish technical breakout.

  • IWM May 3 $198 Calls +10% base hit, runners ran to +100%

A clean, no-stress setup to finish the week 5-0.
